After debuting in Europe last week, Poco now brings the Poco X3 Pro to India — whose launch was teased earlier this month via a letter from the company. Poco X3 Pro is a high-end variant of the Poco X3 (review) that was launched back in September last year, and it comes with quad cameras, Snapdragon 860 SoC, and a high refresh rate display, among other things. Let’s dive in to learn more about the device.

Poco X3 Pro: Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Poco X3 Pro appears pretty much identical to the regular Poco X3: it features a Poco branding at the center and the same circular rear camera housing. On the front, the device has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a centered hole-punch cutout to house the front-facing camera. The display is HDR10 and Widevine L1 certified certified, and it offers up to 450 nits of brightness with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate. Besides, the device comes with an IP53 rating and has Corning’s Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top to protect the display.

Poco X3 Pro comes in three colorways: Graphite Black, Steel Blue, and Golden Bronze.

Poco X3 Pro: Performance

The Poco X3 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 running at its core, which is an octa-core chipset built on the 7nm process that offers up to 2.96GHz of clock speed, with an Adreno 640 GPU to handle the graphics processing. Assisting the processor is up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS3.1 storage, expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card. And to power the internals, there is a 5160mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Talking about other specifications, the Poco X3 Pro includes support for dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, and NFC. It has a USB-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication. For audio, the device comes equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack along with stereo speakers and aptX support. And in terms of software, the Poco X3 Pro runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.

In the camera department, the Poco X3 Pro sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, housed within a circular camera module with an LED flash. The setup for which includes a 48MP (f/1.79) primary sensor, accompanied by an 8MP (f/2.2) ultrawide lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. On the front, the phone has a single 20MP shooter (f/2.2) shooter.

Poco X3 Pro: Pricing and Availability

The Poco X3 Pro comes in two configurations: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB, and is priced at Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999. It will be available on Flipkart starting April 6.
