Alongside the all-new OnePlus 9 series, the company has also announced its first smartwatch in the market. Called the OnePlus Watch, the offering comes in a fixed, 46mm circular dial size with IP68 dust and water resistance, automatic workout detection, heart-rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and a SpO2 sensor. Let’s dive in to learn about the specifications and features of the OnePlus Watch.

Starting with the design, first, the OnePlus Watch features a circular dial that comes in at 46mm. It is made out of stainless steel and has a glossy pattern on the display bezel. The watch comes with an IP68 (5ATM) dust and water resistance and is available in two colorways: Silver and Black. On to the front, the OnePlus Watch has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display. The display is covered in a 2.5D curved glass on top and offers an HD (454 x 454) resolution.

The OnePlus Watch utilized Bluetooth 5.0 for connection. It runs on an STM32 and includes 4GB of storage. To power the internals, there is a 402mAh battery, which according to OnePlus, offers up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge. As for the charging speeds, OnePlus says that a 20-minute charge keeps the watch running for a week with a 5-minute charge offering a full-day of use.

As of now, the OnePlus Watch is compatible with only Android smartphones — both OnePlus and non-OnePlus offerings — and there is no support for iOS devices. Moving to the tracking and fitness features and functionalities, the OnePlus Watch comes with 24/7 heart-rate monitoring support, along with a SpO2 sensor to measure the blood-oxygen saturation levels in your blood.

What’s more, the watch includes GPS, accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, ambient light sensor, and barometer. It has a linear motor to provide vibration feedback, and there is also a speaker and a microphone.

Alongside the regular variant of the OnePlus Watch, OnePlus has also announced another variant, the OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Edition, which, as its name suggests, is a limited edition watch with a few cosmetic changes over the classic version. A part of the change is the inclusion of sapphire glass to add strength and scratch resistance to the watch’s display. According to OnePlus, the use of sapphire glass also enhances the brightness of the display.

One of the highlighting features of the OnePlus Watch is that it can be accompanied as a wireless music player for all your favorite, meaning, you can directly connect your earphones to the watch and enjoy music on the go without needing your smartphone. Not just that, the OnePlus Watch can also be connected to your OnePlus TV so you can use it as a remote controller to control your TV.
